Katherine Wood

Katherine Wood was born 1936 in Victoria, BC. She joined the ArtWorks Program in 1998. Katherine has a wide range of interests, including travel, reading and current affairs. Her style is representational and immediate. She loves to do quick sketches of flowers and gardens to capture what she sees in the moment. Katherine says, “My favourite media are watercolour pencils and acrylic paints. My late uncle Harry Walker painted totem poles in Vancouver, BC, many years ago.”
Katherine exhibits her work in Victoria and Vancouver, and at international exhibitions in Scotland, Japan and California.
