What is it that We Do?
Skill development and Promoting Independence:
Clients have specific responsibilities at each of their volunteer placements throughout the week. As clients develop the skills to complete varied tasks they are then given opportunity to use these skills to work as independently as possible.
Volunteering:
Several volunteer sites are visited by each client every week, allowing recognition for their valued contribution and fostering opportunity for long term relationships.
Contributing to community:
CAT clients provide volunteer support to non profit agencies, day cares and seniors' facilities.
Inclusion:
Clients have the opportunity to interact with others in community on a daily basis in a variety of community settings and situations. They participate side by side with others in community in recreational settings and as volunteers.
