The first generation of people with developmental disabilities to live their lives in community-based care is now getting old. To help meet the emerging demand for geriatric services for people with special needs, the Garth Homer Society (GHS) is searching for a creative, pragmatic, visionary Director of Geriatric Services to work with the Board and senior management to design and deliver innovative services for our older clients.

You are a fully accredited nursing professional or occupational therapist, ideally with specialist training in geriatrics and five years of managerial experience involving organizational and program development. You are at that point in your career when you are ready to build on your solid foundation of practical experience to lead innovation and collaboration, not just manage programs. You are well connected in the health care sector in Victoria’s Capital Regional District and can get excited about building high-quality and highly effective community-based services.
